Year 8 student Wins Gold

Ashas’ fantastic gymnastic achievements (Whole School - 10/10/2018)

Year 8 student Asha Scott recently won a competition which led her to represent the national team in gymnastics with three other children and they have won gold. This was an incredible achievement as they were competing against teams from London, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.

More recently Asha competed in an East Midlands competition and also won gold on her floor routine. She was also the all-round winner from all ages competing including seniors too.

Asha will now compete at the Sandra Clarke cup as part of the senior team which is an amazing achievement to be selected, especially when she isn’t a senior. Congratulations Asha and good luck!
